INTRODUCTION
Static load and Eigen Frequency analyses have been carried out for a steam turbine blade with a fir tree root. Thereby, a part of the rotor disc has been included into the model in order to establish realistic root fixation constraints.
The static load calculations have been performed for both 100 % and 110 % rotational speed. The result of these calculations deliver information on the stress loading at the blade root and on the contact status of the blade snubbers.
Eigen frequency calculations have been performed for different fixation rigidities of the disc and the blade snubbers, in order to analyze the sensitivity of the blade’s Eigenfrequencies on the displacement constraints during operation.
