Stork DFW Service Center delivered repaired gearboxes to Texas Power Plant

Our new Stork service center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has gained another satisfied client through our extensive gearbox repairs. Last week, Jasper de Jonge - Project Manager at the new DFW Service Center paid the power plant a personal visit to uncrate the products.

The Power Plant of our customer encountered issues with two of their Flender gearboxes and asked Stork, a Fluor company to perform an engineering study and improve the gearbox accordingly. These gearboxes are operated in the cooling tower section of the plant and are applied into the cooling fan system.

Together with Stork Gears & Services in Rotterdam (NL) we were able to find a solution to the clients gearbox problem and improved the gearbox in order to prevent future failures.

In addition to gearbox repair and overhaul, the Stork DFW Service Center has extensive capabilities for pump repair, compressor overhaul, reverse engineering & remanufacturing and fabrication services.
