Today Aarding International announces the acquisition of Stork Special Products. Aarding International is since 1959 a leading metal construction company, focusing on niche markets, particularly in the offshore and defense industries. The production unit of Aarding is versatile and of high quality.

Stork Special Products in Zwolle, The Netherlands is an organization specialized in eg diesel engines, transmissions, water coolers and focused on the defense markets, such as Army and Navy. She also has a strong specialization in drive trains and auxiliary equipment.

For Stork this disinvestment is a logical step to a further focus on the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Energy industries. For the employees of both companies approved the acquisition has no effect.

For the Clients of Aarding International and Stork Special Products this acquisition will result in a greater added value: expansion of the services; additional solutions in the fields of construction, maintenance, modification and revision in the Defense market (land, air force and navy) and Offshore and Rail industry.
