Late-Life Assets

Aging and late-life assets account for a big part of production facilities worldwide, across a range of industries. Maintaining aging assets and equipment goes beyond basic maintenance, with a lack of maintenance records, sourcing spare parts, processes, and knowledge transfer all affecting how effectively assets can be maintained, and operated safely and efficiently.

This calls for the development of clear strategies, tailored to the asset state and remaining economic potential, combined with partnerships with contractors that can increase maintenance efficiency through applying best practices and innovations.

What you will learn:

About the main challenges and risks of aging and late-life assets
How to determine the condition and degradation of your installations and, as such, the overall life and expected replacement period of assets
How to visualize OPEX / CAPEX investments necessary in the years ahead
Best practices and innovations in offshore projects on late-life assets
