Smart maintenance - Living lab 'Zeelandbrug'

Ruben Ogink, Pádraig Naughton and Reindert Hoeksema will take you along their journey of the Fieldlab' CAMINO': applying digital transformation and predictive maintenance on infrastructural objects and networks. They will focus on the pilot around the longest bridge in the Netherlands, the 'Zeelandbrug' (length approx. 5000m). They explain what they do, what they have learned so far and what they are still eager to learn. Please join them in their journey.

Rubin Ogink

Ruben Ogink lives innovation. He is the founder of Hello New Day, a Ph.D. researcher in open innovation networks and program manager of WCM Fieldlab Camino. Hello New Day operates at the intersection of Innovation, Organizational Development and Data Analysis. The focus is on ‘Open Innovation’ and ‘Data-driven.’ These items also are parent at the Fieldlab Camino that focuses on measuring the status of infrastructure using sensory technology and data analysis.

Maintenance Engineer

Reindert Hoeksema

Reindert Hoeksema is a maintenance engineer at Istimewa, a Stork company focussing on E&I in Infra & Water. He has extensive experience in projects and maintenance of various infrastructural constructions in the Netherlands, among which is the Zeelandbrug, the longest bridge in the Netherlands, maintained by Istimewa for many years. He is one of the driving forces of the field lab “living lab Zeelandbrug.”
